People in the entertainment industry seem to get into awkward and embarrassing situations all the time, especially after getting drunk at some major events and afterparties. And while we do know that the first name to have popped into your mind after reading this must have been Jennifer Lawrence’s, this one’s about someone else entirely: Robert Pattinson.

As it turns out, Pattinson once got drunk enough to get into a fight after midnight with none other than the iconic diva who made her way to becoming one of the top artists in the music industry from scratch, Adele. And, unsurprisingly enough, things didn’t really turn out all too well for the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire star, as he later admitted just how much he regretted that encounter.

Two decades after the horror genre was redefined by epic battles such as Freddy vs. Jason, Godzilla vs. Kong and Alien vs. Predator, a new film is stepping into the ring, offering a gory smackdown for horror enthusiasts. Untouchables Entertainment, in association with genre website iHorror, is in production on Mickey vs. Winnie, the latest entry in the lineup of nightmarish interpretations of children’s figures.

Tom Cruise and Robert Pattinson are two of the most iconic actors in Hollywood, with one climbing the ladder like there’s no tomorrow and the other ruling over it. While the two of them have never shared the big screen together, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they haven’t met either. Out of the many movies that both of them have individually done, it was a small skit that brought them together.
Robert Pattinson in The Batman (2022)
In a rather humorous sketch, Cruise managed to ground Pattinson in a way that forever became an embedded memory in the fans’ eyes. Both their skills are extraordinary on their own, so much so that some of the biggest blockbusters have their names on it.

Hollywood star Cillian Murphy has portrayed a diverse array of characters on-screen, including his acclaimed performance in the Oscar-winning biographical thriller Oppenheimer. While Murphy received widespread praise for his role, particular attention was drawn to a sensual nude scene in the film. However, this was not the actor’s first experience with nude scenes.
Cillian Murphy in and as Oppenheimer
Murphy previously filmed a nude scene for his breakout role in 28 Days Later. Despite his openness in discussing his scenes in Oppenheimer and even arguing against its criticism, Danny Boyle has revealed that Murphy had reservations about filming the naked scene in the 2002 horror sci-fi film.

Britain’s contributions to the cinematic form have been vast and glorious. Aardman Animation. Alfred Hitchcock. Olivia Colman. 007. High up that list, too, is the British gangster movie – sure, America may often get the genre limelight with classics like Goodfellas, The Godfather trilogy, and Scarface, but nobody does dark, gritty, violent, and darkly humorous quite like the British. You certainly wouldn’t catch football-hardman-turned-movie-hardman Vinnie Jones rolling down the street with some poor geezer’s bonce trapped in his car window anywhere else, that’s for sure!
And so, with tracksuits on, geezer nicknames doled out, and knuckles dusted, Team Empire assembled a list of the very best British gangster movies ever made. From comedy classics, to bruising turn-of-the-century tales of brutality and crime, to contemporary subversions of the genre formula, we’ve covered all bases. These are films of culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog,...

If you are concerned that the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus won’t be back for 2024’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, rest assured that they are. Do you have what it takes to be this year’s Winifred, Mary, or Sarah?
Are there any actors out there? Maybe you’ve always wanted to break into the business. Then Disney Careers is where you should head next! The Mouse is auditioning for all three sisters starting on April 12!
Unlike a lot of other casting calls we’ve seen for Disney theme park and cruise ship productions, the requirements for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular are pretty simple:
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US, and you can’t be a cast member of the Disney College Program.
That’s it!
The auditions for the show don’t require you to appear in person.

The upcoming new Disney attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, has been ramping up its development. It was recently reported that Imagineers were testing out the attraction at Magic Kingdom and were caught on video in the ride vehicles. Now they are implementing another part of the ride, that being the soundtrack.
In a recent video courtesy of Blog Mickey, the song ‘Down in New Orleans’ can be heard from outside the attraction, meaning that it could be a song that you listen to while waiting or on the ride itself.
Here is the full song from the film:
Undoubtedly, more songs from the film could be added to the attraction. The film has many catchy songs such as ‘Almost There,’ ‘Dig A Little Deeper,’ ‘Gonna Take You There,’ ‘When We’re Human,‘ and of course ‘Friends on the Other Side.’ You can imagine where some of these may be placed on the ride.

Descendants of Walt Disney and his brother Roy O. Disney have weighed in on the bid by two activist investment firms to win seats on the board of the Walt Disney Co. — and they’re in Bob Iger’s corner in the fight.
Nelson Peltz, the activist investor who runs hedge fund Trian Partners, is waging a proxy-fight battle to install himself and ex-Disney CFO Jay Rasulo as directors; Peltz’s stated aim is to drive up the price of Disney’s stock. Another investment firm, Blackwells Capital, supports the leadership of CEO Bob Iger and the current board but is urging Disney shareholders to vote for its own three candidates instead of Disney’s or Trian’s nominees.
Disney opposes the candidates put forward by Trian and Blackwells as lacking “the appropriate range of talent, skill, perspective and/or expertise,” and is urging shareholders to vote for its own 12 nominees.

The setlist also included a majority of the songs from her breakout 2021 debut, Sour, including “traitor,” “drivers license,” “teenage dream,” “deja vu,” and “brutal.” For the encore, Rodrigo served up extended performances of “good 4 u” and “get him back!”

It appears that Robert Pattinson’s much-awaited project, Mickey 17, has gotten the short end of the stick due to Warner Bros.’ massive gamble on Leonardo DiCaprio’s next flick. The Titanic star, 49, will be helmed by Paul Thomas Anderson in an untitled movie that is scheduled to start shooting in California this year. Even so, we can’t help but wonder if sidelining Pattinson’s flick was a wise choice in this regard.
Pattinson, best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga, has been carving out a niche for himself as a talented and versatile actor over the last few years. His performances in films such as The Lighthouse and Good Time received critical acclaim, so it is no surprise that fans are looking forward to this upcoming sci-fi film.

Warner Bros has dated Mickey 17 for Jan. 31, 2025 — a very odd date for a highly anticipated follow-up from Oscar and Cannes Palme d’Or winning Parasite filmmaker Bong Joon-ho.
What’s key about the date is that Warner Bros will have Imax, furthermore next January is starving for wide releases. But the reason why the studio went with this date is to play off Lunar New Year in South Korea.
The title is a major part of Warner Bros.’ CinemaCon presentation this year.
Originally, Mickey 17 was to go on March 29, shortly after Dune: Part Two this year but the strikes pushed the movie. We kept hearing it wasn’t ready. Still that didn’t stop everyone from panting that the sci-fi feature could hit Cannes. There were never any plans for the movie to go to Cannes.

A dispute between the heirs to the Ramones’ estates has culminated in a lawsuit, with one side accusing the other of effectively shutting down the company that controls the group’s intellectual property rights while unilaterally greenlighting a biopic of the rock band.
Linda Ramone, widow of Ramones’ guitarist Johnny Ramone, accuses Mitchel Hyman, lead singer Joey Ramone’s brother, of refusing to engage with the band’s record label, merchandising partners or business managers, preventing the company from conducting basic operational tasks while draining it of funds. The complaint, filed in New York’s state Supreme Court on Jan. 19, states Hyman “covertly developed an unapproved and unauthorized Ramones-based biopic, used Ramones IP across their own personal social media accounts without permission, and disparaged and threatened Ms.

It’s been an interesting start to 2024 here in the horror world, as the newfound public domain status of the 1928 animated film Steamboat Willie has resulted in a flood of (wildly unofficial) Mickey Mouse horror projects. The iconic Mouse first appeared in Steamboat Willie, and now that the animated short is in the public domain, well, that version of Mickey is too.
Filmmakers have been lying in wait for this day to come, and today we’ve learned that a horror movie titled Mickey’s Mouse Trap is already on the way. There’s also another untitled Steamboat Willie horror movie in the works, while the world of gaming is getting in on the fun with the upcoming Infestation 88. But the first Mickey horror project is already here.

The fraudulent Michelangelo who performed at Mar-a-Lago isn't the only imposter version of an iconic animated anthropomorphic animal on the loose at the dawn of 2024.
As of January 1 this year, Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks's "Steamboat Willie" -- the benchmark 1928 black-and-white cartoon short featuring Mickey Mouse in his earliest form -- has officially entered the public domain. That means it's open season for anyone and everyone who wants to use that iteration of the Walt Disney Company's mascot. So, naturally, there's already an influx of horror-themed films and even video games aiming to parody the rodent's family-friendly image. (Nobody tell them that Kevin Smith basically already did that 25 years ago with the Mickey-inspired Mooby the Golden Calf in "Dogma.")
Up first? "Mickey's Mouse Trap." Directed by Jamie Bailey, the slasher film centers on Alex, a young woman who's stuck spending her 21st birthday working a late shift at...

Mirroring the “Studio that Mickey Built” (Disney), the French-based Illumination animation studio has long recognized their most popular characters, the Minions, the Twinkie-inspired pranksters that debuted in Despicable Me almost 15 years ago, aren’t sufficient on their own to sustain long-term business viability. It’s certainly not for lack of trying, though an over-reliance on sequels for Despicable Me (among others) suggests they’re still trying to find a magic formula (Super Mario Bros. excepted). Even their latest family-oriented, animated film, Migration, features a standalone short that serves as a sequel to Despicable Me. It should be more than enough, though, to elevate the collective mood of pre-teen, Minion-loving audiences before the actual film they came to see, Migration, proper appears on the screen. Without a single Minion anywhere in sight, Migration has...

This November, after three full years of waiting, fans of FX’s “Fargo” will be treated to a brand new season. Unlike the anthology series’ fourth iteration, which served as a prequel to its first two, the upcoming fifth batch of episodes will tell an entirely original Midwestern crime story. Leading the season’s star-studded cast is Jon Hamm, who has his sights set on earning his first Best TV Movie/Limited Series Actor Golden Globe nomination this winter. Since he was already honored in the corresponding drama series category for “Mad Men” in 2008 and 2016, his possible new victory would make him the seventh man to clinch Golden Globes for performances on both continuing and non-continuing TV programs.
Hamm, who picked up four additional Golden Globe bids for “Mad Men” between 2009 and 2013, has already begun his splashy 2023 return to prestige TV by playing a new supporting role on the third season of “The Morning Show.

Watch any classic movies, and there’s a good chance you’ll see someone who got famous down the line. A future pop star appeared as a dancer in Elvis Presley’s Viva Las Vegas. That was far from the end of her career on the big screen.
‘Mickey’ singer Toni Basil danced to a Ray Charles song in Elvis Presley’s ‘Viva Las Vegas’
Toni Basil is a dancer and choreographer who’s most known for her No. 1 single “Mickey.” In a 2014 Facebook post, she discussed her experiences on the set of Viva Las Vegas. “Over the months of rehearsing with Anne-Margret and Elvis Presley, [choreographer] David Winters and I became close friends with them,” she recalled.
“David the choreographer and I worked on many musical numbers for this film,” Basil added. “Here’s ‘What’d I Say’ where I got to be the girl with the red dress on.

At 5’2, Mickey Rooney may have been small in stature, but he had a huge personality and was one of the biggest stars in the heyday of the Golden Era of Hollywood. He had one of the longest careers of any entertainer, with a body of work that spans nine decades in the industry, including vaudeville, films, television, radio and the stage.
Rooney was born Joe Yule, Jr. on September 23, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York. At 17 months old, he made his stage debut in his parent’s vaudeville act, and made his motion picture debut in 1926. In 1927, he starred in the first of several short films in the “Mickey Maguire” series, and adopted the stage name “Mickey Rooney.” He made 78 of these comedies, and also received great notices in films such as “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (1935). If you're a movie or TV viewer, you've seen Chris Diamantopoulos. Probably many times. If you're an animation nerd, you've heard Chris Diamantopoulos. Again, probably many times. Anyone who is pop culture-literate in the year 2023 has encountered the actor in some capacity -- even if you don't know his name, you know his face. But you can be forgiven for not recognizing his voice, because his chameleonic voiceover work suggests the work of a dozen different actors.
After cutting his teeth on the Broadway stage, Diamantopoulos smashed into film and television and has seemingly never stopped working. You may know him from roles on major TV series like "CSI," "24," "The Sopranos" and "Arrested Development," where he eased into those shows' distinct tones with ease. He was the sound guy who tempted Pam away from Jim in the final season of "The Office." He was that guy from the horse...

The first half of the 20th century is often referred to as the Golden Age of Hollywood. But this distinction overlooks the abusive conditions forced upon actors of all ages. Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney were given large amounts of drugs to keep up with their intense shooting schedule when they were still children. Both actors had historic careers in the industry, but they were also damaged by these experiences in heartbreaking ways.

Austin Butler heads into Oscars 95 with a good chance of winning the Best Actor category for portraying Elvis Presley in the feature film Elvis. Much ado has been made about the actor’s physical transformation into the King of Rock and Roll. However, Butler morphed into Presley not only as a singer and actor but as a dancer. He was coached for some of Presley’s most iconic movies by Toni Basil, a choreographer, and singer of the ’80s hit song “Mickey.”

It's not a secret that Hollywood has a really sordid history with the way transgender characters have been presented on film. While bigoted pundits like to pretend that trans people and trans representation in entertainment is somehow a new concept, films like "Myra Breckinridge" were shocking and subverting audience expectations over half a century ago. Unlike the transgender media of our current era that often put cis men like Jared Leto, Eddie Redmayne, and Jeffrey Tambor in drag, "Myra Breckinridge" instead chose to cast Raquel Welch, an international sex symbol at the time, in the titular role.
The film was an adaptation of Gore Vidal's controversial book of the same name, a title that was equal parts bestseller and banned text. It's one of the earliest known novels to feature a protagonist who has undergone gender affirmation surgery and dissects themes of feminism, gender performance, America's unhealthy relationship with toxic masculinity,...

Christina Aguilera has reportedly unfollowed Britney Spears on Instagram after the “Toxic” singer took aim at her in a recent post.
On Monday (12 September), the 40-year-old singer shared a photo with text that read: “I found out there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people.”
Alongside the picture, Spears wrote in the caption: “I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small.
“I mean why not talk about it ?? Don’t you think my confidence would have been a bit better if I could choose where I lived, ate, whom I called on the phone, dated and who was on stage with me!!!” she added.
“It’s hard sometimes now I see how much of my womanhood was stripped away at that time and every person...

Exclusive: Prime Video’s The Wilds will not return for a third season. I hear the cast and crew of the YA survival drama were just told about the decision, which comes almost three months after Season 2 was released May 6.
The Wilds, one of the last shows developed and produced by the late Jamie Tarses, was an important series for Prime Video and Amazon Studios. It was part of the very first batch of YA pilots ordered by Amazon Studios soon after Jennifer Salke took the reins as part of an expansion in that arena. It was the first YA series to premiere on Prime Video and the first to go to a second season.
Prime Video remains committed to young-adult content with a slate that includes recent breakouts The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Boys Presents: Diabolical and Invincible as well as the upcoming series Shelter, based on the...
