  • Revealing mistakes: When Gabe is going over the high wall at the police station to catch Yulaw, the barbed wire on top of the wall he struggles through is obviously made of rubber/foam.

  • Continuity: When T.K. Law sees the bloody soap in the bathroom, in the close-up we see her shadow even though she is still at the door. A second later she approaches the soap and the same shot is used again.

  • Revealing mistakes: In the first chase where the police of the Anubis Universe are chasing Yulaw, the first car goes under the partly raised garage door and hits its lights on it. The siren dies and the light and siren get broken off. When the car drives on, however, the top is sparking but the lights and siren are intact.

  • Continuity: At the end, when Gabe Law is in his new universe, he sees a dog, that has been hit by a car, lying on it's right side on the street. When he picks up the dog, it's right front paw is bent back, hinting that it is injured. When Gabe brings the dog into the vet clinic, it's right front leg is straight and Gabe seems to place the standing dog on the counter top.

  • Continuity: During the climactic fight in the power plant, the part in the hair of both characters keeps changing from left to right to left again, as the film is flipped to aid in scene composition.

  • Continuity: Near the beginning, when they are reading the charges against Yulaw, they say 123 charges of unauthorized transport. At this point he's only killed 123 people, and the first was on an official assignment. It should only have been 122 charges.

  • Revealing mistakes: Toward the end, during the final fight scene, when Gabe is dragging Yulaw to the wormhole and holding the ax to his throat, you can tell the head of the ax is some sort of foam, as you can see it bending against Yulaw's neck

  • Factual errors: While Gabe is practicing Bagua Zhang in his den, he actually slides over the wooden paneled floor with his Magnum Boots. It's impossible to slide with these things (especially on wood) since the carbon rubber sole is skid-proof.

  • Continuity: When Yulaw kills T.K. he shoots her on the right side, when she is seen lying on the ground she has a wound on the left side.
