Pre-dating The Daily Show by a decade was this little seen special. Another spoof by the ZAZ Brothers. This time, it's 20/20, Dateline and 60 Minutes they send up. It only appeared as a one time special, but it was funny enough to remember 18 years later.
Morgan Farichild's desk went on the fritz while rolling by the camera to bang on the side of the set, knocking her hair out of place. The "hard hitting investigations" into things like seeing eye cats, where you'll see blind people sitting in trees with barking dogs around the trunks and nude horseback riding (self explanatory - OUCH!), are the stuff of classics!
I'm surprised nobody else ever remembers this once seen little gem. One of the original MTV veejays Martha Quinn was a fake reporter on it.
