"AIDS: Syndrome Of Death" it's an evangelical movie directed by Paco Del Toro, infamous because of his controversial Christian low-budget exploitation films that are widely hated by anyone who isn't a Christian in México, but I have to say that this one it's really bad.

The movie starts with a dragged and long title sequence, this has to be the worst opening credit sequence I have seen in a while, it shows footage of people playing tennis on a country Club, while playing this awful stock music, it's dull, too long and cheesy, but not in a good way. This film has very awful actors, but only on the secondary roles, the main lead it's a bit tolerable, he actually manages to give an OK performance, unlike most people here.

the film tells the story of Claudio, a womanizer who get's AIDS, the film follows his battle with the disease and his conflicts with the people around him because of the disease, the first half it's really boring, with a lot of exposition dialog and awful performances, but the second half it's actually kinda of watchable, in a "so bad, its good" way.

As much as I dislike the film, I can't say it was all bad, there are a few scenes that are a bit intense, like the scene were Claudio's mother finds out he has AIDS, but it ruins that by also being a very preachy movie, it's really annoying. Later in the film, he tries to put his life together and fix things in his life, and these last scenes are executed very poorly, it also has a very awful ending, which seems fitting.

I don't recommend this film, it's preachy, dumb, boring, awfully made, and a miserable experience.
