Sex & Nudity

  • An underage female character tries to have oral sex with a male while he's driving, but he refuses. Nothing explicit is shown.
  • A woman is shown in her lingerie.
  • Some sexual conversation.
  • A man believes another man's subtle actions are a homosexual pass. When he asks, the man say "it might be" but backs off when the man tells him he is "out of line."

Violence & Gore

  • A man is shown falling off a pig. Played for laughs.
  • A man is stabbed in the neck with a small knife in self defense by the main character. The penetration isn't shown but we see the realistic wound with lots of blood leaking out of it. The man takes a few seconds to die as he collapses onto the floor convulsing and gurgling with a pool of blood spreading out. This is why the film was given an R rating.
  • A man is shown laying dead underwater.
  • A man is shown with blood on him after being in a car crash.
  • A man punches another man in the face.
  • A man is executed in the electric chair as the film fades out. Not explicit but somehow disturbing.

Profanity

  • At least 1 slang term for breasts ("rack"), 8 hells, 5 damns, 4 S.O.B.s, 2 asses, 1 crap, 15 uses of "Goddamn," 5 of "Jesus," 2 of "Oh Jesus" and 1 use each of "For Christ's sakes," "Jesus Christ" and "Christ Almighty" as exclamations.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The main character is seen smoking pretty much throughout the whole film.
  • People are seen drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is one disturbing scene of violence, but the intensity is mitigated by it being shown in black and white.
