Just a quick comment, having acted as an adviser for the film, to say that the film was made in the summer of 1984 and first transmitted in January 1985, and not at the date for which is currently listed. The story is based around the real story of Clement Scott's visit to Cromer in 1883.
I'm more than confident about the date it was made, as my second daughter was born on 1st January 1985, and it required 'special permission' to be allowed to go to see the preview at BAFTA in London a couple of days later! You don't forget these things!
Co-star as Louie Jermy was Phoebe Nicholls and cameraman (great work) was Nat Crosby. Executive Producer was Richard Broke, whose sister at that time owned the house, Louie Jermy's home, where the original events took place in 1883.
