it is a special movie. not exactly for artistic virtues or for brilliant script/acting but for the virtue to be , in a strange form, against the propaganda command. a film about a professor in middle of political debates, with life as a broken mirror, like many other films of period - web of words about nothing significant, it is, in same measure, precise demonstration of need of fall for Romanian Communism. picture of a fake and carrion system, new image of intellectual as Don Quijote, using personal problems as symbol of ash circle of society, it is not a manifesto but a mirror to a world without soul.a testimony. or, just, expression of profound sadness.
