- There is violence but it is slapstick style similar to the Home Alone movies. One of the burglars is hit with a spade after having his head trapped in a wall. Later the same burglar falls from a large height. The burglars are bitten several times by the dogs.

- Two men break into a house and kidnap a little boy. They also tie up the maid and lock her in a closet. They force the boy to communicate with his father over a video feed as a threat.
- The little boy Charlie is left bound and gagged in a spooky looking barn on his own, and looks scared.
