As bad as it gets??
GlennDavidTaylor4 May 2006
This is probably the worst movie I have ever seen. Poor script, horrible acting, it looks bad, and it is soooo unrealistic.

I think that if I gave some movie making equipment to a group of grade-schoolers, they could do better.

This movie might be enjoyed by a very young child, but I doubt it.

I would not recommend this film to anyone, and in fact, I recommend that you should not waste your time watching it, like I did.

I guess the good thing is that all other movies look good after watching this one.

well i was flicking through sky movies a few months back and came across this film and it instantly grabbed my attention purely because at that particular moment Randy Travis happened to be on screen so i decided to watch it and i must say it turned out to be no word of a lie the BEST ever film i have seen it was really inspirational and very moving unfortunately i hadn't seen the film from the beginning but in the rare case it didn't matter. a few days later it was on again so i managed to watch it from the start is an amazing film with such an amazingly thought out, slight twist at the end. i highly recommend this to everybody. I'm so gutted that no-one i no or ask in shops have heard of it i cant find anywhere in england , or on ebay that sell it but i'd love to watch it again its an amazing film, an inspirational plot and superb acting from all in it.Make sure you have a box of tissues at hand

This is a fantastic movie. I would pay to see this movie again, which is something I rarely do.

Very well written, very well done. This is one of my ten all time favorite movies.

a good one

this movie is really good movie for drama lovers. it's quite and nice and is i liked the acting of the father jack. it just shows the way the parents feel when their only son (or daughter) have cancer and they are dying. really a great movie in the morning when you have nothing to do and the you just open the TV and find it there. i saw it three times until now. the first time i saw it was when they were in the hospital scene and that really attracted me because i love the movie which talks about sick kids who have cancer or anything. drama lovers this is for you. but what really confuses me is when the father jack drinks i mean what's that going to solve? u can watch it when you are totally bored.

Great Movie - Touching Story
nwmg_homer_simpson6 February 2006
Warning: Spoilers
A Great And Touching Movie, The Cactus Kid Is Inspiring. Directed By Don Ashley, The Story Is Amazing. Young Georgie Pierce Is Diagnosed With A Brain Tumor. His Last Wish Is To Rob A Bank Just Like His Hero The Outlaw 'The Cactus Kid'. So His Policeman Dad Makes It Come True When He Organises It With The 'Make A Last Wish Foundation'. Truly Amazing Movie, Only Movie I Ever Cried At And William R. Moses And Thomas Curtis Pull A Great Performance ********** 10/10 - Recommended For Anyone Who Enjoys A Movie With So Much Compassion Or Just A Big Cry.

Most People Can Probably Guess The End Which Is Very Emotional. Actors Were Great, Script Was Excellent And Just The Thought Of What The Father Would Do For His Son

Watch it to the very end and you will understand.

This is a very nice gem of a movie, and I highly recommend it. Anyone who doesn't watch the full movie will come away thinking it's full of plot holes. It's not. I was pleasantly surprised. The other positive reviews give all the important details. I simply wanted to give my thumbs up.
