Revealing mistakes: At 00:52:11 in the movie, an operator in a military surveillance control room is reading aloud live coordinates of a fast-moving object on his radar screen. The content of the screen is shown full screen for 2 seconds. However what the "radar" screen displays is a plain DOS listing of root directory on his computer hard disk. As the operator supposedly gives additional information about speed and destination of the moving object, what we sees is that he types "DIR /V" within an After Dark DOS Shell session and yet again the DOS root directory is displayed. We can even see clearly that Win95 is installed on the computer. more

A direct to video blockbuster involving meteors destroying the planet. Thats where the similarities between Not So Deep Impact, Yawnageddon, and this movie end and actual entertainment begins. The movie moves at an impressive pace with some amiable performances by all (except for an offensively lifeless performance by Amis). And the script actually serves up enough twists to keep the noodle somewhat active. It kind of treats your brain like a computer, occasionally nudging the mouse to get rid of the screen-saver. Mario Van-Peebles is in top form as a religious cult leader welcoming the end of the world.
Well worth a rent.
