• Anachronisms: When Russ and Gig are leaving the Denny's, a sign for "Big-K" can be clearly seen in the background. The film is set in 1988, but K-Mart did not adopt the Big-K logo until 1996.
  
  
• Anachronisms: The Denny's restaurant is decorated in the chain's '90s style, with a newer green logo.
  
  
• Anachronisms: While Russ and Gig are arguing about Dale the Thug outside Denny's, several cars from the 1990s can be seen in the parking lot.
  
  

• Continuity: When Det. Pat Lakewood arrives at the scene of the jackknifed trailer, Russ throws a crow bar at the Detective's windshield and it breaks. In the next shot as Detective Lakewood pulls away, the windshield is no longer broken.
