When it comes to making features like this one, i love the idea of coming up with my own personal “100 Great Kung Fu Movies” of all time. It is tough choosing just 100 because you know there are many more great Kung Fu movies that are not on the list.
I have decided that to make the list, a movie must have a few hand to hand fight scenes in the movies chosen. If for example its mainly sword play with one fight scene hand to hand it won’t make the list. Its old school “style” Kung Fu movies, not modern day settings.
I understand everyone will have their own personal favorites and some may not agree with my list and that’s fine because it’s nice to have different opinions on this genre which keeps it fresh and alive when having good debates.
Anyway, thank you for taking...

The story revolves around a detective who discovers footage at a murder scene, shot by two teenagers, that provides clues to the identity of a killer. The teens have since gone missing, and as the detective retraces their journey, he soon uncovers a trail of deceit and murder that leads all the way back to him.
Kitcher says that the thriller is “best described as Memento meets Kalifornia.”

With the amount of trade news we write, there are certain screenwriters that we tend to see frequently -- on some days, it feels like every Hollywood studio project is being divided up among 15 men (there are sadly no women on this list; the few notable female screenwriters tend to be better known as directors, and I've excluded those known more for their directing work, as they are more recognizable).
Truth is, I had no idea what most of these guys looked like until I compiled this list. Most people who follow the industry probably know what John August looks like (the guy behind a lot of Tim Burton's films) and maybe William Monahan, but few would recognize many of those behind the movies that pollute our multiplexes look like.
So, for the curious among you, here are 13 currently prolific screenwriters whose faces you've probably never seen, but whose...

Because the weekend's five new nationwide releases were unimposing, The Expendables claimed the top spot again with an estimated $16.5 million, though the muscle-bound action ensemble didn't show any further strength. Vampires Suck was the biggest grosser among new releases, draining an estimated $12.2 million from 3,233 locations. That was around twice as much as Disaster Movie's debut in August 2008. Lottery Ticket scored a decent estimated $11.1 million at 1,973 locations. Piranha 3D took an estimated $10 million bite out of 2,470 locations, which was much less than Snakes on a Plane. Nanny McPhee Returns lost much of its predecessor's magic with an estimated $8.3 million at 2,784 locations. Meanwhile, The Switch was impotent with an estimated $8.1 million at 2,012 locations. Overall weekend business was off around two percent from the same timeframe last year, when Inglourious Basterds blasted into theaters, and attendance was middling for the time of year. The Expendables retreated a typical 53 percent, and its wages...
