The buzzer sound for both contestants in this version was a combination of both sounds used in the original version.
The show's theme song is a stock music piece called "Run Don't Walk" that was released by the KPM Musichouse music library in the early 1980s. The song was composed by British composer Richard Myhill, but credited to the Music Design Group.
Although both NBC and Mark Goodson Productions had granted permission to do Classic Concentration (1987), they actually liked it, however, it was Mark Goodson's call to revamp the show, first, and when the game show had received low ratings, and when the network was looking for a replacement series, both NBC and Mark Goodson was brought up to the attention, themselves, that they were finally able to pay attention to the Classic Concentration (1987) thing.
Bob Hilton was supposed to resume his role as announcer, on the second-run of this show, but due to family reasons, that he moved to Sacramento, he didn't return, therefore the job was given to Rich Jeffries, who announced the original version of the show, in its last week.
