Not what I thought

I happened to catch this flick at a friends place as he had a VHS copy of the film from somewhere - as I haven't seen it at the vid store.

I threw it in not expecting much but was surprised by the overall quality of the film's performances and an amazing soundtrack of artists I have never even heard of.

If this is what more low budget flicks were like I would probably go see a lot more of them!

The main character (Joseph) suffers a mild personality crisis, quits his job, dumps his girlfriend and chases after an abused women who for all intents and purposes doesn't know he exists. It's real life, only not a life I hope anyone I know ever has to experience.

The film was shot in my hometown - Denver - and if you have ever been there you will definitely recognize a few of the locations.

All in all I would suggest anyone who get's the opportunity to spend 90 minutes and check out the film as it's a refreshing change from the Hollywood schlock.

Saw the film a while back - didn't know it was online. Excellently done, especially for an independent. The film really got my attention, especially as I know a women just like Lana, it's sad but true when film imitates life.

If the film is in your area and you like independent films I would strong recommend you check out this effort - I don't think you'll regret it.
