- Tron Bonne: Hey you! Thanks to you, everything's ruined!
- Megaman: Aren't you the girl who was being chased by that dog?
- Tron Bonne: Shut up!
- Teisel Bonne: [at a digging site] What gives? I'm diggin' and diggin' and diggin' and I'm still nowhere near the bottom. Maybe we do need those keys after all.
- Servbots: Master, master. It's him, that blue guy is heading this way.
- Teisel Bonne: He's here? Okay everyone, stop digging. Our focus is to take care of our little blue friend okay? Do'nt be fooled by his side, he's already defeated Tron and Bon. Let's do it!
- Servbots: Roger!
- Narrator: In a world covered by endless water... People are forced to eke out a living on the small patches of land that remain above the sea. The people of this world rely on ancient technology driven by quantum refractors, a powerful energy source. These refractors lie in ancient ruins underground and in the sea and are sought out by explorers called "Diggers". These brave explorers are the sole source of refractor energy which has become a cornerstone of the emerging civilizations. Originally, this was the Diggers' only purpose; to find refractors so that civilization might endure, however over the years, the story of an incredible treasure, the legendary Mother Lode, began to be whispered among the Diggers. The Mother Lode, a treasure so great that were it discovered, it would provide so much power that the world need never fear of running out of energy. In search of this Mother Lode, Diggers travel from one island to another in their flying machines ever hoping that they'll find what they seek just over the horizon. Hope, despair, charity, greed, duty, power... who can say what truly motivates the Diggers?
- Tron Bonne: Okay, once a decision is made there's no turning back. Nothing less than 100%, and remember, it's not just about guns and ships, it's who has the most information that wins, right?
- Servbots: Yes, we understand. Keeping our costs and risks, as low as possible, and stay on schedule.
- Tron Bonne: That's right. You got it.
- [looks back]
- Tron Bonne: What are you looking that.
- Roll Caskett: [after you completed the intro stage] Sorry Megaman, The Flutter was experiencing problems and could'nt stay any longer. But, we were able to get a refractor. We should be able to live off of that for a while. Only if the Mother Lode was as easy to find as this.
- Megaman: Don't worry, we'll find it someday, and your parents too.
- Juno: As keeper of this island, I hereby exercise my Prerogative of Correctional Displacation.
- Megaman: Prerogative of Correctional... What?
- Juno: Allow me to rephrase; I will exercise my authority to terminate your program.
- [Teisel watches the Flutter fly away from the bridge of his boat]
- Teisel Bonne: Well, there they go, not a care in the world. Hey, Tron! Can't this thing go any faster?
- Tron Bonne: [sternly] No, it can't! I had to gather up all the spare parts from everything he blew up to build this!
- Servbot: That's right! That's right!
- Teisel Bonne: We'll just have to rough it until we get to the next island! If we sell what we found, we'll get back what we lost and then some! We'll live like kings!
- [the boat's cargo, a giant refractor, is shown]
- Teisel Bonne: Who would've thought there was such a huge refractor down there, and all we had to do was just wander in and pick it up! I told you we'd have the last laugh!
- [laughs wildly]
- Tron Bonne: [sighs] That's assuming we make it to the next island without sinking!
- Roll Caskett: Hey! What do you think you're doing?
- Megaman: Whoops...
- Roll Caskett: Get out of here - NOW!
- Roll Caskett: Next time, knock before opening the door!
- Megaman: Sorry, Roll...
- Megaman: What's happening to me? This is the first time I've ever been here, but I feel like I've seen this before... Something is telling me there's danger here... that it shouldn't be opened...
- [a door opens, revealing MegaMan Juno]
- Megaman: It's a man... a person?
- Mega Man Juno: Was it you who awoke me? It is somewhat earlier than I had planned... But no matter. Thank you for awakening me. Hmmm? Have we met before? Oh, please forgive me. You are a purifier model, assigned to the direct command of Mother. As I recall, you were designated MegaMan Trigger. Please forgive me, I did not recognize you in your current configuration.
- Megaman: You... You know me?
- Mega Man Juno: You don't remember? Ahh, I see... You have suffered memory loss, yes... And for what purpose have you awakened me... by yourself?
- [MegaMan looks at the Kattelox Island radar confusingly]
- Mega Man Juno: I assume that your reason for coming here is to purge the carbons that have overpropagated during the time I was inactive.
- Megaman: [confused] Carbons? Purge? What are you talking about?
- Mega Man Juno: According to Urban Military Security Ordinance A10, the number of carbon units is not allowed to increase beyond a pre-specified limit; if this happens, they are to be purged immediately. My observation, if left unattended, the carbons will reproduce indefinitely. Their numbers will grow, polluting the surface world. They can be quite a nuisance...
- Megaman: Carbons? Do you mean...
- [shocked]
- Megaman: The people on the island?
- Mega Man Juno: The carbons fit Mass Population Model B. They are unstable, very difficult to control... Perhaps, it would be better to simply reinitialize...
- Megaman: Reinitialize? I haven't understood much of what you have been saying, but when you say "reinitialize", do you mean... No!
- [four strange looking pillars suddenly appear around MegaMan]
- Megaman: Huh?
- [the pillars start to electrocute MegaMan and restrain him]
- Megaman: AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
- Mega Man Juno: This is quite depreciable. It would be much easier if I had the assistance of a proficient unit, such as yourself. Once my task is complete, I shall inquire as to the presence of a backup of your memory on Eden. Until then, please remain where you are. Until then...
- [Juno leaves the room]
- Megaman: What... in the...?
