This is it. A time capsule of the moment that INXS, the boys from Sydney, were at the top of the world, when thousands upon thousands crammed into what was then considered the pinnacle of venues - if you played Wembley, you were hot stuff - in the aftermath of the release of X, which is my favourite INXS album.
Whoever made the decision to film the concert is a genius, as we will never see INXS better than they are in Live Baby Live.
Right from the second Jon Farriss takes a set behind his drum kit, flashes a peace sign and launches the band into "Guns in the Sky", Hutchence, the brothers Farriss, Kirk Pengilly and Gary Garry Beers set about reminding us why the band was so revered. Hutchense's stage presence and magnetism is hard to ignore.
The songs are epic. The crowd is epic. The entire thing is epic.
Dang, I wish I'd been there.
