The intriguing premise pays off with a likable cast and a clever script that provides many inspired comic moments. At times the direction seems a bit uneven and the movie feels somewhat rushed, especially the ending which is satisfying but a bit head-spinning. These characters deserve more than the 85 minutes they are given to develop their inevitable rapport and resolve their conflicts. However, if offbeat, idiosyncratic characters make you laugh, this film should have you rolling.
