Quality of its genre

This is pure soap opera- but it is the finest castile. The understated intensity of Lia Williams (homely sister) and her boyfriend, George Anton turns what was written as an overwrought mellodrama, into a quality story. If they were all this good I would be in serious danger of becoming addicted to the Romance Channel.

An OK TV drama

Imogen's Face is a highly average TV drama which tries very hard to be dramatic and erotic. It manages to fail on all accounts with bad scripting, bad direction and bad character development. The acting is good though and it is just about watchable. Only for real Samantha Janus fans I think.
