Parker Denies Mole Removal

17 July 2008 5:15 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Latest: Sarah Jessica Parker has denied she has gone under the knife to remove a beauty spot from her face - insisting she has not had plastic surgery of any kind.

The Sex And The City star was photographed apparently without her signature facial feature - a mole on her chin - as she stepped out for a baseball game at Yankee Stadium in New York City on Tuesday.

Pictures of the actress clearly show that the previously noticeable blemish has been replaced by a tiny mark.

But 43-year-old Parker is adamant that she has not undergone surgery, with her representative saying, "Nothing has been removed."

16 July 2008 12:05 PM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Sarah Jessica Parker has sparked speculation she has undergone cosmetic surgery to rid her face of a beauty mark - despite previously ruling out ever going under the knife.

The Sex And The City star was photographed apparently without her signature facial feature - a mole on her chin - as she stepped out for a baseball game at Yankee Stadium in New York City on Tuesday.

Parker walked onto the field with Sheryl Crow and Major League Baseball (Mlb) Commissioner Bud Selig before the game to request donations from the crowd for cancer research.

The 43-year-old previously vowed not to tamper with her looks, declaring, "I believe in aging gracefully - and of course, buying as many anti-ageing creams as possible!"

Sex + The City Nights Hit By 'Fraudsters'

8 July 2008 9:08 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

Bar owners in Boston, Michigan were allegedly duped into cancelling Sex And The City-themed nights after receiving fake cease-and-desist letters purporting to be from U.S. broadcaster HBO.

A string of venues in the city had planned to host evenings to celebrate the release of Sex and the City: The Movie in May, but were forced to cancel the events after threats of legal action allegedly from the TV show's creator HBO.

However, the letters - written on phony HBO-headed paper - were part of an alleged scam by rival bar owners attempting to monopolise potential profits from parties based around the opening of the hit movie, according to TMZ.com.

Legendary fashion designer Vivienne Westwood is not a fan of Sex And The City, branding the film's fashion styling uninspiring and "quite dull".

The designer, 67, is name-checked in the film and even created the dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's fashionista character Carrie on her wedding day.

But Westwood insists she was far from impressed with stylist Patricia Field's work on the big screen adaptation of the hit TV series.

She says, "I thought Sex And The City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw.

"I went to the premiere and left after ten minutes."
