Saatwan Aasman is a drama film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and stars Vivek Mushran, Pooja Bhatt, Shekhar Kapoor, Tanvi Azmi and Avtar Gill.

A patient with very fatal disease wants to enjoy every single day of her remaining life and meets murder a convict and both of them falls in love.

For me Mahesh Bhatt has always been an overrated actor and barring his very few films like Arth, Saaransh and Naam most of his films are just and average films and this film is no exception.

The plot of the film is good but the execution is average. The film with a length of just 2 hours fails to keep the viewers intact and thankfully the melodious music in between the viewers might not loose the interest.

There are few scenes in the film which rally makes no sense such as, The hero is a murder convict who has eloped from jail but working at a circus nearby but the police has no clue that the murder convict is so near. The lead actress who is suffering from a fatal disease voluntary lefts without getting proper discharge from the hospital and is not been stopped as if her father owns the hospital (at least her father owns this film and made a mess of it). In one of the scene the police inspector just leaves the murder convict who he was searching for long to be with a girl who is dying and in the next scene he is ready to kill him. You just walk to any random house and you'll be kept as tenant and so on.

Acting is average and both the leads were above average. Shekhar Kapoor is a seasoned director but disappoints in acting. Tanvi Azmi was impressive. Avtar Gill was also decent.

Screenplay of the film is good, cinematography is decent and music is superb and probably the only saving grace of the film. Climax is predictable.

I am not sure how many people remember this movie. I watched this movie during my school days in 90's.

It includes melodious songs and good story line.

Vivek and pooja acted very well in this movie and gave their best performance.

The climax of this movie is what makes this movie memorable.
