Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A man is shown from the rear as he showers. He is shown in another scene from the side lying nude on a tanning bed.

There is a very graphic scene involving a man filming himself and two women having sex with each other. The movement is explicit. Although all three are nude, private parts are hidden apart from fleeting glimpses of breasts. The scene includes the man's explicit requests (including a direct description of rimming in the director's cut).

A pornographic film on a television is in the background of one scene.

Drawings of naked women are shown.

An engaged man is having an affair with another woman who is dating another man. They are shown having sex under blankets.

Violence & Gore

A man is killed with an axe. Instead of seeing an axe enter his head, there is his reaction before he is killed, a blood spray on the murderer's face, and his face in a pool of blood. When his body is being dragged out, it leaves a bloody trail.

Various women's deaths are off screen but clear given the woman's head in the fridge, bedsheets covered in blood, the bodies hanging in the closet, and the bloody corpse on the bathroom floor.

There is also a sequence in which a man confesses to an answering machine the people he has killed and some of the depraved acts he has performed.

Also off-screen is the multilation of two prostitutes. One woman is shown with a bruised face, crying.

A homeless man is stabbed repeatedly though only his reaction is shown.

A dog is trampled to death but this is partially obscured by a trash pile.

A woman is shot in the chest and drops dead.

Several policeman die in a surreal shootout with the main character. One officer is shot and the rest appear to die when the squad car blows up as a result of the shooting.

The secretary of the main character opens up a book containing the drawings of woman being graphically tortured, murdered, and mutilated in various ways.

A woman is apparently viciously bitten under the covers during oral sex. There is blood staining the sheets as she struggles and on the murderer's mouth when he looks out from under.

A building receptionist is shot in the head and slumps back in his chair with blood and brain spraying on the wall behind him.

A janitor is shot dead. It is brief, and there is no sight of blood.

A chainsaw is dropped on a woman from a great height. Although we don't see the chainsaw hit her, we do see the chainsaw sticking out of her back and blood pooling on the floor.

Profanity

The F-word is used twenty-seven times. The S-word is used three times. Other vulgar sexual terms and profanities are used occasionally.

There are many scenes of smoking and drinking. One of the characters appears drunk in one sequence.

Characters use cocaine. They also talk about using other drugs including steroids. One character appears to be under the influence of depressants in one at least one scene.

There is a shooting spree and some cars blow up. People try to escape being murdered with gory results.
