Expats in Prague in the early 90s
addisontim27 March 2015
How much fun was that!!!! Eric Stunzi's first major project. Tim Addison's first production. The Czech Actors and crew were top notch. The Expat actors were not so good. But my goodness it was made and it was a blast. Its fun to see the cars, the fashion and the clichés. The story was a classic one of natives meet foreigners. The ugly American was well portrayed by Sean Fuller. Amazing that it got made in those early days. Enjoy it. I know that Eric and I had arguably one of the best years of our lives shooting the damn thing. Barrandov Studios was and still is the largest private lot in Europe and even the canteens were replete with daily stories of post-communist, Kafka-esque madness: from the hairy legged secretaries to the food, fashion and even the toilet paper hands down this was some project.
