This is the biblical story of Moses (Mshs in Egyptian) with a few Hollywood interpretations thrown in. The basic story is how Moses was born to Hebrew slaves but raised by the Pharoah's (Seti I) wife alongside his adopted brother Ramses II. It follows Moses' life through his discovery that he is not a Prince of Egypt but, in fact, the son a slaves and on through how he spoke with God and led the slaves out of Egypt to the Promised Land. It is wonderfully drawn and acted. The musical scoring and singing is brilliant.
