• Continuity: When Porter is hit by Pearl and her group of thugs' car, he shatters the windshield upon impact. Several frames later the windshield is completely intact.
  
  
• Continuity: When Porter is hit by Pearl and her group of thugs' car he is shown shooting his revolver, usually a 6 shot, 13 times and possibly more off camera, but he is shown actually pulling the trigger and the hammer dropping 13 times in frame.
  
  
• Continuity: The prostitute's hair changes style during the scene in the cafe with Porter.
  
  

• Continuity: The prostitute's hair on her left shoulder when she is talking to Porter in her apartment.
  
  
• Continuity: The camera shows Ford keys dangling from the ignition and then Porter drives off in a Cadillac.
  
  
• Continuity: When Val is threatening Rosie on the floor of her apartment, shots of her show the gun solidly under her chin, while shots of him show the gun hanging loosely inside of his knee.
  
  
• Continuity: The position of the fold in the picture of Rosie and Porter changes during the movie.
  
  
• Continuity: The money porter puts on the bar when talking to the bartender disappears when the phone is placed on the bar.
  
  
• Continuity: When Rosie hugs Porter in the hall outside her apartment the ring is on her left ring finger. A minute later when she's lighting the cigarette it's on her left middle finger.
  
  
• Continuity: When Porter and Val start driving down the alley towards the Chow's car they are initially in a 1970 Chevy Nova (round headlights, no front indicator lights, and no Chevy emblem on the grill) but just before crashing into the Chow's car it becomes a 1973 Chevy Nova (different grill, squared off lights, Chevy emblem on grill) when the two cars impact, the side shot is of the '70 Nova.
  
  
• Continuity: Rosie's apartment door has 404 on it, visible when she greets Porter the first time and when Resnick ambushes her. Resnick sees a bloody mark on the call button for 403.
  
  
• Continuity: Before Porter gets into the back seat of the Taxi with Stegman, the windows are clear. After he gets in the windows are heavily fogged up. When the Chows pull up and start shooting, he jumps out and the windows are once again clear.
  
  
• Continuity: When Porter is in the back of the limo with his apartment exploding in the background, the door sill of the limo is visible showing that the door is open. But the next exterior shot shows all the doors closed.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Val meets Stegman at Varrick's, Stegman is shown sipping his beer but never really takes a drink.
  
  
• Continuity: When Porter gets hit by the car, the windshield is destroyed. But when they show him rolling on the ground afterwards, the windshield is undamaged.
