• Continuity: In an early scene, the Mitchells appear to look straight out their bedroom window to watch Jacob's pickup coming up the driveway, but a later outdoor shot of the house shows no front window that would provide quite that same view; further, the front windows are a different style.
  
  
• Continuity: In the first scene shot outside the Mitchells' house, the Volvo wagon parked in the driveway is a later model than the car that appears in subsequent driving scenes.
  
  
• Continuity: Damage to front of pickup truck after hitting tree.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: Vacant farmhouse has little snow on roof.
  
  
• Continuity: In the living room after the bar visit someone is holding a beer can. In the following shot there is a bottle in his hands.
  
  
• Continuity: Directly after a shot of the full moon, when Hank is lying in bed, the scrape on his forehead moves from above the right eye to above the left eye.
  
  
• Continuity: When Hank shoots a chandelier, Jacob can be seen at the left of the screen, recoiling, his hand over his face as bits fly past him. A cut to Jacob, bits still flying, shows him perfectly still, staring down.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: After being killed, Lou blinks.
  
  
• Continuity: When Hank and Jacob are sitting in the car, the window is up, but when Jacob gets out, the window is down
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When the money is burned in the fireplace, you can see that some of the bills say "motion picture use only".
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: There is no rear view mirror in Carl's truck. This is visible when the three men are on their way to the downed plane.
