• Continuity: When young Nathan is playing on the floor on the rug, he's shown with a puzzle that he doesn't receive until the Christmas party in a following scene.
  
  
• Continuity: After Caine exits his broken vehicle, he is bleeding from his left shoulder. In the next scene we see him bleeding from the right shoulder, with his left shoulder uninjured. In a later scene, he is once again bleeding from his left shoulder, with his right shoulder uninjured.
  
  
• Continuity: Just before he starts the final showdown with Cain, Todd's combat webbing has suddenly disappeared
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: While Sgt. Todd and Cain 607 are running near the beginning of the movie, movie lighting trucks are visible beyond the plastic sheeting covering parts of the hallway.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: As Todd is rising from the water ready to shoot, it is clear from the ripples, lack of water falling from his body, and the fire in the background that the shot was played in reverse.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Todd is punching what is supposed to be a gas tank (or some sort of large receptacle), the audio provides cues that this is metallic. On most of the impacts of Todd's fists the tank can be seen to collapse exactly as would a stuffed bag (which is what the prop actually is). A metal container might collapse but is unlikely to rebound to its original shape. The close-up shots of his fists only show what is actually a piece of metal and most certainly not the "bag" he punches in other shots.
  
  
• Continuity: When Col. Mekum first enters the hanger, the aftermath of the chain fight is visible, though it doesn't occur until a later scene.
  
  
• Continuity: Towards the beginning of the film, when the young boys are running, the boy lagging behind clearly has a shirt soaked with sweat. When the trainers pull up to shoot him, his shirt is dry.
  
  
• Continuity: When Todd falls from the ship to the garbage planet, he alternately holds his left/right side between shots.
  
  
• Continuity: There are only supposed to be 17 more Soldiers after the first 3-man team is eliminated but in the end Todd kills a total of 24 soldiers
