• Continuity: When Kevin Calhoun and Marybeth Cogan are out on the boat, shots from the inside seem to indicate that the water is choppy, but exterior shots show calm water.
  
  
• Continuity: Pappas buttons his vest at the beginning of his last scene with Calhoun, but midway through it is suddenly open again.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Kevin Calhoun is crossing this busy street and is almost hit by multiple vehicles you can clearly see the traffic light in the background signaling a green "WALK" for the pedestrian crossing Calhoun is using, so all the vehicles almost hitting him are running a red light.
  
  

• Crew or equipment visible: As Frank Anselmo is entering his house you can see a crewmember walking in front of his window in the bottom left hand corner.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: In the shootout at the beginning of the movie, there is an obvious squib on the front of Tino's jacket visible just before the detective shoots him.
  
  
• Continuity: When Tino first shoots the Brooklyn detective early in the movie, the gun fires once, but you can see two wounds on the detective's chest as he goes down.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Kevin and Marybeth are returning from Buffalo, they get off of a NJ Transit train. NJ Transit doesn't have trains that go anywhere near Buffalo.
  
  
• Continuity: Although the action of the film covers only a few days, John Cusack/Kevin Calhoun's weight appears to fluctuate considerably from scene to scene.
