For an early Warner DVD this disc is quite good. The resolution is very good most of the time, but occasionally some scenes lack a bit of detail. Only in a few scenes the picture looks a bit grainy. From demos Denon made recently, I have the impression that the Japanese version is much grainier.
The 5.1 channel mix is great and all the helicopters constantly flying around make some really nice directional surround effects.
