• Continuity: The amount of blood on Deja's face and shirt changes from shot to shot.
  
  
• Factual errors: Remy refers earlier in the movie that it is 1995. The "Peace Fest" that is advertised on the flyers is slated to take place on Saturday, November 15. For it to be a Saturday and be on November 15 it would either have to be 1986 or 1997.
  
  
• Continuity: The position of the frozen broccoli that Malik uses to "ice" his face with changes between shots.
  
  

• Miscellaneous: Immediately after the red Volkswagen beetle is flipped and the three girls are walking along the sidewalk, it is raining in the background but not on the girls.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Immediately after Malik leaves Prof. Phipps' office for the last time in the movie, the camera pans in on a plaque that reads "Columbus University: propter aurum quod autulerunt et propter sanguis quiem effuderunt." Apparently Columbus University's classics department doesn't live up to Columbus University's reputation as one of the nation's premier institutions of higher learning. The plaque is supposed to read, "Columbus University: propter aurum quod abstulerunt et propter sanguinem qui effudit." ("Columbus University: because of the gold that they have taken away and because of the blood that has flowed.")
  
  
• Plot holes: Though Jennifer Connelly's character is central in the film, she is never shown or mentioned again after being seen running during the sniper attack.
