Continuity: AJ removes his shirt during the close-up in-store dancing scene. The long shot shows it back on, and then another close shot shows it off.
Continuity: AJ's jacket when he gives Warren his ID card.
Continuity: Joe is seen filling up the money bag in the background while Lucas is talking to Mitchell and when the shot comes to Joe, he goes through the exact same actions again.
Continuity: Gina is seen throwing money into the "help Lucas pile" twice.
Continuity: When Deb is making her buttons on the balcony of the store, the first one she is shown making is "dishonesty". Upon throwing it into the pile of other buttons, you see the button "stupid". The very next button she makes is that same "stupid" button.
Continuity: When Corey is on the roof talking to AJ after the Rex Manning incident, her hair is in her shirt. Then the camera angle switches and it is out of her shirt. Then the camera angle switches again and it is back IN her shirt.
Continuity: On the roof when Corey puts her shirt back on, her hair is in her shirt, then out, then back in.
Continuity: When Gina and Corey are talking and Corey takes off her bra it can be seen on the table, then at the end of the table, then gone, and Eddie picks it up off the ground.
Continuity: At the end A.J. sells his "Alice in Chains" painting, and then moments later it is seen still behind him.
Continuity: In the car, Gina takes hold of the Rex Manning record with her left hand, reaching over her right arm which is on the wheel. In the next shot she holds the record in her right hand, and her left is on the wheel.
Audio/visual unsynchronized: During the rave, Berko points to Gina and tells her to take the lead and sing the song. He can be heard playing a guitar chord although he is still pointing at Gina.
Continuity: When Lucas is in the casino at the craps table, after winning the first roll, he picks up the dice and then goes into his "save the empire" speech. After stating he would buy the table a drink if he wins again, the table attendant pushes the dice over to him.
Continuity: Deb's nose ring changes sides.
Continuity: In the very first shot of the movie, we see all of the band's equipment already set up on the roof, even though later they are seen hauling it all up there before the big midnight show.
Continuity: When the staff is dancing to Rex Manning, Deb takes off A.J.'s shirt. In the next shot he is seen with his shirt, and then again without it.
Factual errors: When Lucas is gambling in the Atlantic City Casino he is betting cash. Cash does not play in Atlantic City, only chips are allowed for table games.
Continuity: When Eddie is explaining to Mark that his CD has been torched he takes off his goggles, and in the next shot he is seen taking them off from again
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Lucas is compared, by his co-workers, to "the Chinese guy from the Karate Kid." The Karate Kid character being referred to, Mr. Miyagi, was actually Japanese.
Continuity: When "Warren" comes into the record store to shoplift, he had nothing in his pockets since he is leaving them empty for shoplifting space. Yet in the back room after being caught he has a Game Boy. This is because of a deleted scene in which Lucas borrowed Joe's Game Boy.
Continuity: When Mark is putting the table together, the poster is put in upside down; yet it is up the right way when Rex first walks out to greet his fans.
Continuity: After A.J. is punched by Rex Manning, the bruise on his face appears on the wrong side.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Lucas rides a motorcycle in Atlantic City, NJ where there is a mandatory helmet law, yet Lucas rides without one.
