- Continuity: As Annie's brother falls down the steps, he is obviously replaced by a stuntman with long hair.
- Continuity: In the flooding scene in the slave quarters the Candyman's hook falls off into the water during one of the shots. In the next shot of the Candyman swimming, the hook has reappeared.

- Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: When Annie scratches the Candyman's face, in the scene where he kills her husband, and bees begin to pour out of his face; it is obviously a fake head because there are, visibly, no nostril holes, just indentations. This can, also, be seen when the Candyman's face repairs itself.
