  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Several differences in the two times we see Honey Bunny pull the gun in the restaurant can be attributed to seeing the scene through Jules' eyes the second time.

  • Continuity: The sugar bowl on the table in the diner.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Jules and Vincent are riding in the car, it is possible to see the reflection of their car in the background, being towed on a trailer.

  • Continuity: The amount of Brett's burger that has been eaten as Jules picks it up.

  • Continuity: The position of Honey Bunny's hands (after she asks "What then, day jobs?") changes when camera switches from front to side shot.

  • Continuity: In the Big Kahuna burger scene, the paper cup (with Sprite) changes its position, judging by its label.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Vincent walks into Mia's home, the crew is reflected in the window.

  • Continuity: When Jules and Vincent are in the diner at the end of the movie, the ice in their water glasses changes. At one point, it's completely melted. Seconds later, ice reappears in the glasses.

  • Continuity: During the Big Kahuna burger scene, Jules put down his drink and a paper bag appears next to it. The bag then disappears and reappears several times between shots.

  • Continuity: During the Big Kahuna Burger scene, after Brett is shot by Jules in the chest, he covers the bullet-wound with his hand. When Jules lifts his gun again to kill him, he momentarily lifts up his arms in fear and there is no bullet-wound of any kind visible.

  • Crew or equipment visible: Crew is reflected in the open front door when Lance goes outside to yell at Vincent for crashing into his house.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Butch reads the cab driver's name as "Esmarelda Villa Lobos" then she tells him she is Colombian. The correct Spanish spelling is "Esmeralda" (meaning "emerald").

  • Continuity: Vincent unzips a case to reveal an old-fashioned glass syringe, yet the extreme close-ups of the syringe show it is made of plastic.

  • Continuity: The level of the milkshake in the diner.

  • Continuity: Mia's cigarette in the diner.

  • Continuity: When Butch and Fabienne are arguing about the forgotten watch, the coat hangers in the background cast different shadows in different shots.

  • Continuity: Errors during the scene when Marsellus and Butch are trapped inside Maynard's basement: 1) When he starts sprinkling water to wake them up, Butch is seen bent further down in the back shot. 2) Maynard then sprays them upwards, but in the next shot the water is coming downwards. 3)When Maynard finishes sprinkling, Butch turns to Marsellus, but in the next shot he is facing away. 4) When Maynard goes upstairs to open the door for Zed, Marsellus's shirt is untucked covering his crotch and Butch's blood stain on his shirt looks darker. In the next shot, Marsellus's shirt has changed as well as the blood stain on Butch's shirt, which looks lighter. After Zed walks in, the shirt and the stain change back.

  • Continuity: Gun-related goof during the scene with Marsellus and Butch inside Maynard's basement: After Marcellus shoots Zed he fully cocks the shotgun. In the next shot the slide is back open.

  • Continuity: As Vincent is about to inject Mia with adrenaline, he holds up the syringe, showing the plunger at the bottom of the syringe barrel, meaning the syringe is empty.

  • Continuity: When Jules shoots Brett, his gun becomes empty and the action retracts. When viewed again, the action does not retract.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Winston Wolf rings the doorbell at Jimmy's house.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Winston Wolf departs in his Acura, he takes a hard corner, but the sound indicates continuous acceleration in a straight line. While the acceleration is possible, it would sound different going around a corner.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Winston Wolf drives an Acura NSX, which is a two-seat sports car. After stating that he is taking Raquel to breakfast, he offers to give Jules and Vincent a ride home. But this was never a serious offer.

  • Continuity: The color of the cheese on the Big Kahuna Burger changes with the close-up.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: In the parking lot of Jack Rabbit Slim's, Mia says, "Don't be a ...." Instead of forming the expected square with her hands, she draws a rectangle (its edges are animated). But Mia tries not to do what's expected.

  • Continuity: When Mia and Vincent go to Jack Rabbit Slim's, Mia is wearing black dress shoes. But when she and Vincent return to her home, she's wearing gold ballet slippers.

  • Continuity: Winston Wolf opens the car door to inspect the cleaning job. However, when the camera looks inside (through the window), the door appears closed.

  • Continuity: In Jack Rabbit Slim's, Mia's lipstick alternates between very dark red and very pale pink.

  • Continuity: After being back from Jack Rabbit Slim's, Mia has Vincent's coat on. When she is about to light herself a cigarette, she isn't wearing it, but when she reaches for the lighter, she is wearing it again.

  • Continuity: When Mia gets the adrenaline shot, Trudi can be seen jumping onto the couch twice

  • Continuity: While Butch is pointing the gun at Marsellus and is about to shot him inside Maynard's store, his right hand changes in a quick cutaway with the fingers pointing in the opposite direction.

  • Continuity: Right when Vincent shots Marvin, and the window is splattered with blood, Vince can be seen facing the front of the car.

  • Miscellaneous: The scene where Vincent and Jules are talking to Jimmie during the "Bonnie Situation" lasts for over two minutes, but the clock behind Jimmie doesn't move.

  • Continuity: Mia's bangs change while she's talking to "Ed Sullivan" at Jack Rabbit Slim's. There are less of them when she first talks to him. When the camera looks at her again, her bangs are full.

  • Continuity: When the fourth man in Brett's apartment fires at Jules and Vincent, the wheel on his revolver does not spin.

  • Continuity: When Vincent and Mia are in Jack Rabbit's, the video wall behind them showing a street scene jumps (e.g., cars and people disappear) each time the shot switches from Vincent to Mia.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Vincent enters Mia's home for the first time, a camera and a camera operator are clearly visible in a reflection on the windows in front of them. They have a black blanket or tarp covering them to make them harder to see.

  • Continuity: When Fabienne starts talking about breakfast, she sits on the bed with her hand on her foot. When we see her from behind, her hand is at her head.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Bonnie comes through the living room into the kitchen in The Bonnie Situation you can see the shadow of the cameraman following behind her.

  • Continuity: When Honey Bunny is pointing a gun at Vincent she's holding it with both hands in one shot and with one hand in another shot.

  • Crew or equipment visible: As Vega walks through the corridors to find Marcellus talking to Butch's trainer (after the deadly boxing fight), some equipment, and a crewmember wearing a baseball hat, is visible through a door on the right.

  • Continuity: The Three Stooges film (Brideless Groom (1947)) that Lance is watching when Vincent calls with news of Mia's overdose, is being shown out of sequence.

  • Boom mic visible: Reflected in the motel window when Butch picks up his girlfriend on the chopper at the motel.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: In Jack Rabbit Slim's, the page says, "Call for Phillip Morris." His mouth movement does not sync with his words.

  • Continuity: In "the bonnie situation" when the man fires the revolver, it's clear that some of the bullet holes were made from the outside going in. As if he were standing in the hallway firing into the room.

  • Continuity: When Mia overdoses and is taken to Lance's apartment, a dot is drawn on her chest to show Vincent where he will be stabbing her with the adrenaline shot. After she gets up, the dot is gone.

  • Crew or equipment visible: During the coffee shop robbery, when Pumpkin has the manager's head pinned to the counter, a crewmember is reflected in the cash register.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: (possibly) Whenever the two shots from inside the apartment are shown, they are shown in different perspectives, so it might be that all goofs spotted in the two apartment scenes can be considered as being different characters in the movie perceiving things differently. You decide.

  • Continuity: Vincent's arms when he is talking to Mia at her house after the OD.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Jules opens the briefcase for Pumpkin (Ringo), an orange light bulb can be seen through the mirror on the top part of the inside.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Vincent Vega drives up to the house with Mia ODing and crashes, you can see tire tracks in the grass where the original car continued through out of shot so when the camera tracks around it shows only the placed car.

  • Continuity: In the first scene when Honey Bunny pulls out her gun, she says "If any of you fucking pricks move, I'll execute every motherfucking last one of you" but in the final scene when the robbery is shown again, she says "I'll execute every one of you motherfuckers".

  • Continuity: When Butch walks out of the shop and stands in front of Zed's chopper he is holding the keys in his left hand. However, when a closeup is shown of the key's they are clearly in his right hand.

  • Continuity: After being shot in the face, Marvin's face and head is intact when shown in the trunk of the tainted car.

  • Continuity: When Vince and Mia come through the door of Mia's house after going to Jack Rabbit Slims, it is quite clearly daylight, as if they have been out all night. The same when Vince is in the Bathroom, the light from the window suggests it is day. However, for the rest of the scene it is still night.

  • Continuity: In the final diner scene, Ringo leaves a much longer pause between the words 'garcon' and 'coffee' than he did in the equivalent scene at the start of the film.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When in the back of the taxi, Butch takes his boxing gloves off and then throws them out the window. When he throws them out you can hear them hit the ground perfectly as if they weren't in a moving car and just parked.

  • Factual errors: In the 'Big Kahuna Burger' scene the bullet holes are perpendicular to the wall when they should be at an angle because the shots were fired from an angle.

  • Factual errors: When Butch opens the door of the Apt/Condo with a Brass Kwikset key, he turns the key clockwise, which in fact would actually lock the doorknob. Turning it counter closewise unlocks a Kwikset entry lockset.

  • Continuity: Butch's hand positions switch between shots when holding the chainsaw.

  • Continuity: When Mia interviews Vincent on the video camera, the perspective of the video camera (and Mia) keep moving, but the cutaways to Mia holding the camera are the same, being stationary with the same background.

  • Continuity: When they are seated in the car at Jackrabbit Slims and she is ordering the 'Durwood Kirby' burger, the cigarette alternates being held between right and left hands.

  • Continuity: After Mia regains consciousness from the adrenaline shot, her hand changes position from hovering near the syringe stuck in her chest to being on the floor in the next shot and then rising to hover near the syringe.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: In Brett's Apartment, when Jules is talking to Brett he appears to say "Look at the brain on Brad" instead of calling him Brett. However, he stretches out the name "Brett" (i.e. "check out the big brain on Breeeeeeeeeett") and so it sounds like he says "Brad", If you listen closely, you can hear the "T" sound at the end of the sentence, indicating that he said "Brett" and not "Brad".

  • Miscellaneous: As Jules yells "I dare you, I double dare you, motherfucker...", you can clearly see "Marvin" in the background, looking rather bored.

  • Continuity: At the beginning of "The Bonnie Situation", you can see bullet holes in the wall behind Vincent & Jules before they get shot at.

  • Revealing mistakes: At the beginning of "The Bonnie Situation", the condition of the wall where the bullet holes are seems to indicate that the bullets were shot from outside the apartment.

  • Continuity: When Butch is picking up his girlfriend with the chopper from Zed and he is outside waiting for her, the front light of the chopper is switched off and on in different cuts of the scene.

  • Continuity: When Butch parks the Honda and climbs out of the car, the sky is clearly gray and overcast. However, in the next shot when he is walking towards his apartment block, the sky is blue.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Marcellus fires the shotgun in the cellar, the gunshot would have deafened or at least affected the hearing of those present.

  • Continuity: In the Big Kahuna Burger scene, when Jules shoots the guy lying down his gun shows no muzzle flash, but when Brett is shot, both Jules' and Vincent's gun show very clear muzzle flashes.

  • Revealing mistakes: In the scene where Vincent shoots Marvin, the bullet goes through his head causing blood to cover the rear window. From that range, the bullet would have gone through the window as well, which it did not.

  • Continuity: The last shot of Jules before the 4th man appears from the bathroom to shoot at him, holes are already in the wall behind him.

  • Continuity: In the beginning of the gold watch scene, the time on the watch changes between cuts.

  • Continuity: At the end of Vincent's phone call, (when Lance exclaims "PRANK CALLER" twice), he has a cigarette in his left hand. Facing the window in the next cut, as the car rolls past and Lance throws his hands up, the cigarette is gone.

  • Continuity: At the start of "The Bonnie Situation" the kid with the hand cannon has his pants unbuttoned but when he comes out of the bathroom shooting they are buttoned.

  • Continuity: When they are at Joe's auto dismantle, The Wolf is walking to his car and there are 2 trucks with railing on the side with a VW beetle and another car in between them. But when The Wolf gets in his car and jets off there is only one truck with railings and the VW.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: At one point, Vincent says, "I don't watch TV." Later, he mentions something he once saw on the television show "Cops." The phrase "I don't watch TV" generally means that the speaker does not make a habit of watching television. It generally does not mean that the speaker avoids television completely and has never seen a single episode of any show ever. Most people who "don't watch TV" will watch TV from time to time, depending on the situation at hand. Vincent seems to be no exception.
