While PREHYSTERIA! was a film that seemed to be everywhere back in the 1990s, I had no idea that two sequels followed. Watching this one, I can see why I was so ignorant; these are nondescript, cheap-as-chips copies of the first courtesy of Charles Band's Full Moon Entertainment. Gone is the kid from the first film to be replaced by some annoyance who once again gets the better of dumb adults with the aid of his stop-motion tiny dinosaurs. A smaller budget means less stop motion here, unfortunately, while the script appears to have been written by three-year-olds.

Good, But Not as Good as the Original
AJ-9217 August 2000
This movie could've been better. It was kind of dumb to have a different boy take care of the dinosaurs, keeping the same boy could have led to a better movie. It was nice to see the dinosaurs again, though. This movie had more laughs than the first one, but in my opinion, it still wasn't as good. It definitely wasn't as charming. But it was still good, and it's enjoyable for someone who liked the first one.
