Fun Stuff

Trivia:

Novellist R.D. Wingfield, whose "Frost" book were the inspiration for the series, was very critical of the TV adaptation and said that it had ruined the character of Jack Frost that he had created in his novels. The main change between the books and the TV series is that Frost's prurient and earthy interest in pubescent teenage girls and young women is much less evident in the TV series. more

Quotes:

[examining murder victim]
Dr McKenzie: I'd guess from the obstruction in his throat that he probably choked on his own vomit.
Frost: Better than choking on someone else's vomit, I suppose.

A Good detective......, 31 January 2005
Author: palexandersquires from United Kingdom

first of all, I think that this series is brilliant, I would not like to work for Mullet, he seems too strict!! I like Jack 's stuff the rules, attitudes to his work, To me he seems to like to do things His way, and Mullet always questions his motive's, but in the end Jack is always right, that chap at the beginning of the episode did murder the victim or do the hit and run. I am collecting that new magazine/DVD series of 32 issues. I think that Jack should keep his office,in order. This would help him find files quicker. I also liked the episode with Kia the dog! as he barked when Mullet was about to tell Jack off, and Mullet said, "get rid of the dog". so every time Kia saw him, he would bark! Jack said, " that dog grows on me,anyone thought of making him chief constable!" I say, "Why not" I also think that I should be Mullet! long may this series continue. I like Mullet 's office, the way it has been done.
