Antonio a veteran drugs dealer kills the Chinese drug dealer right in the middle of a large crowd of people. There is not even a huge party going down and Antonio should have known that a shotgun would carry a loud and very distinct noise. When Jake hides from the corrupt federal agent who shoots more and more holes through the door of the otherwise pitch black closet, letting in more and more light, it becomes obvious with every new bullet hole that the image of Jake laying still is a still frame; Brandon Lee is unnaturally still, and the frame is even slightly blurred, as was common with still frames in the early 1990s.

Before shooting him, the Marshalls repeat a line of dialogue uttered on the TV that's on, which Jake hears and tips him off, yet the third Marshall is right next to the two men and does not find it the slightest bit alarming. Further, he does not hear them blatantly attaching silencers to their weapons right next to him.
A shot in the love scene/Serrano death montage which appears to be out of sequence. One of the key aspects of this film is Jake Lo is being hunted by corrupt cops and mobsters and that they are trying to kill him. There is one problem with this, all he would have had to do is make a statement to the many cops in the police station and his testimony could still be used in court, even if they killed Jake, it wouldn't matter because he has already made his statement. So this plot makes little sense.
Jake Lo commits assault when he grabs the Fbi agent by the arm, yet the Fbi agent mentions a number of charges there trying to charge with him, assault is not one of those charges that he mentions, it's just overlooked and ignored.
The film focuses around Jake Lo, but a number of witnesses exist besides Lo. There are a number of witnesses to crimes like carrying a illegal firearms and many of them could have seen the murder being committed, and yet the film completely ignores them. Many of them are not seen being killed on screen and anyone one of them could have testified. It makes no sense why they focus on Jake, it just wouldn't happen in reality.
