Trivia:
Steve Buscemi appears in an episode in the first season which was inspired by an actual incident between himself and Paul Reiser. Before Buscemi began acting, he tried his hand at doing standup. One night, he bombed so badly that another comic had to take his place. That comic was Reiser and the episode pokes fun at the incident. more
Goofs:
Continuity: As with any long-running show there are many inconsistencies between series. Characters' life histories, their birthdays and ages are reported differently from time to time as the writers invent new stuff for them that wasn't thought of when the series began. more
Quotes:
Jamie:
Do you want to tell me why I just lied to our closest friends?
Paul:
They wanted to take us to dinner.
Jamie:

You have to love this show.Very funny.Paul and Helen have such great chemistry on-screen.This is one of the best on-screen duos of all time.A more reasonable Bonnie and Clyde.Great writing, and wonderful acting. All of these elements has made it one of the top shows of its time, next to FRIENDS and Seinfeld. What made it even more amazing is that it went out with a BANG when the show had its finale. There is no way you can make the greatest show list and not have this show on it.I give this ***** stars for humor, chemistry, writing, and the list goes on.
