Rated R for disturbing violent content, some sexuality and language.It is stated several times that a man was in prison for raping a 16 year-old girl, but supposedly the victim was promiscuous. A man sees his wife start to take her shirt off (no nudity) and he says "do that again." They are then seen under the covers (no nudity) and sex is implied. A man states that he was sodomized by four white guys and four black guys. A man is shirtless in bed with a woman who is in her bra. It is mentioned shortly after that he raped this woman. The victim does not want to testify for fear of being considered promiscuous, and because she was having relations with a married man. We learn a man has been cheating on his wife, and it is implied that these problems have happened before. A man is seen in only his underwear as he is strip searched. This same man is seen shirtless several other times. A man inserts his finger into a teenage girl's mouth and then kisses her passionately for several seconds (the girl leaves immediately after this.) A girl is seen in bed with her panties on. A man starts kissing a woman against her will. He attempts having sex with her but he ends up not doing so. This same man later demands that a woman and a girl take off their clothes (which they do not).
It is said several times that a man beat and raped a 16 year old girl. A man handcuffs a woman in bed and then bites part of the flesh on her face (blood seen). He then punches her several more times. We later hear this woman was raped. She is seen in the hospital and she has a black eye and several bandages on her face. A dog was supposedly poisoned and consequently killed (not seen). A man shoves another man down to the ground and then tries to attack him. A man is brutally beaten by three men who have bats and chains (blood seen on his body). However, he then beats off his three attackers (some blood seen on them). A man makes several plots to kill a man throughout the movie. A man is strangled with a piano wire and blood is seen coming from his throat. When he tries to fight of his attacker by shooting him, he ends up accidentally shooting himself in the throat and dies. Blood from the shot is seen on the wall and then running down the man's neck. This man is later seen on the floor in a pool of blood, and a man accidentally slips and falls down into it ( he gets this man's blood on his own clothes). It is also seen that another woman was killed and a mark is seen on her neck. A man is strangled by another man until he passes out. While a man is smoking a cigar, a girl sprays gasoline into his face, setting his head on fire. His face is later seen badly burned. There is a fight between a man and another man with punching kicking and hitting. One man attempts to shoot another man but misses. Blood is seen on a man's face several times, and his hands are very bloody. It is implied that one man has died.
Occassional mild coarse language. About 9 nine uses of the f word (sometimes used sexually). Many uses of the word son-of-a bitch. Other milder profanities are used such as shit, bastard, ass, damn, etc.
A woman smokes frequently, and her husband does occasionally as well. A man and a woman are seen in a bar, and it is implied that the woman was drunk. A man is seen smoking "grass" and he lets the girl smoke it as well. It is referenced that a girl was in trouble for using marijuana. However, her father does not see anything wrong with it and mentions that he and his wife have used it.
