Blu-ray players once again are going to be pretty hot items this year, but what of the movies available for them? If you already own the DVD of your favorite flick, is there a need to replace it with a Blu-ray? I'm here to answer all of your questions in the second annual ...
Before we get into my picks, let's take a second to explain how I rated them. They're broken down into three categories:
Can't Miss -- Must Haves: These are the cream of the crop! The purchases that are guaranteed to bring a smile to someone's face. Items no one with the tech should be without.

Greatest Scream Queens

Debbie Rochon, often described as a scream queen herself, wrote in an article originally published in Gc Magazine that "a true Scream Queen isn't The Perfect Woman. She's sexy, seductive, but most importantly 'attainable' to the average guy. Or so it would seem."

Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire (aka 2008's Best Picture, according to the Oscars) has arrived in stores and is now ready for a whole new audience to discover. Other major releases this week include bittersweet comedy Marley & Me and Seven Pounds starring Will Smith, plus new comedy specials from Jim Gaffigan and Ricky Gervais. You can also look for 8 new horror movies from the After Dark Horrorfest [1], along with recent genre hits Special and Timecrimes (let's hope Magnet does a better job with the subtitles on the latter). Last but not least, Ghostbusters fans will be excited to get their hands on the 5-disc '80s cartoon set The Real Ghostbusters: Volume 1. What are you picking up this week?

It's a bumper crop of DVDs hitting store shelves this week, including the latest group of After Dark's "8 Films to Die For". The rest range from the sublime -- Two Evil Eyes, Cat in the Brain, Timecrimes, and Xombie -- to the ridiculous -- The Sinful Dwarf, Bollywood, Troma, and Seduction Cinema. Indeed, there's something for everyone!
