  • Boom mic visible: Numerous times, most noticeable in a mirror.

  • Continuity: Jacob Singer walks from one subway car to another but when he exits the subway, the car is not there.

  • Continuity: To match the direction of movement, a shot of the Ford LTD racing around a corner has been flopped, but the license plate, which is now in reverse, is visible.

  • Anachronisms: The baseball cards that Jacob's son drops in the flashback of his death were Topps 1973 edition, after his death is supposed to have taken place.

  • Continuity: The amount of shaving cream on Jacob Singer as he talks on the phone. It appears and disappears during the scene.

  • Revealing mistakes: A support wire is clearly visible on one of the demon's wings during the party scene.

  • Continuity: Even through Jacob doesn't finish shaving (he towels-off the remaining shaving cream off his face), he appears to be clean and evenly shaven.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Jacob's doctor, Louie shouts out for "Jacob Stinger" at one point when he is attempting to rescue Jacob from the hospital. Jacob's full name in the movie is Singer, not "Stinger".

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Jake puts his son to bed, there is a crew member visible in the mirror behind him when he leans down.

  • Continuity: In the scene where Jacob and Geary are walking down the stairs, Geary is holding his brief case with his left hand. After he says "war games in Thailand" and makes a motion with his right hand, the next shot shows that hand now holding the brief case.

  • Continuity: The fortuneteller scene at the party switches between Jacob's left and right hands.

>>> WARNING: Here Be Spoilers <<<

Goofs below here contain information that may give away important plot points. You may not want to read any further if you've not already seen this title.

  • Anachronisms: SPOILER: During the scene where Jacob goes to a party with Jezebel, the song "Lady Marmalade" is playing in the background, which is fine if it's 1975 as we are led to believe throughout most of the movie. However, at the end we find out that all of the action happening in "present day" was a hallucination that Jacob was having in 1970-ish, therefore, there is no way that Jacob could have known that song, which came out in 1974.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: SPOILER: The B train (that Jacob is riding) does not stop at Bergen Street and never did. However, because this takes place in Jacob's hallucination, this may be a deliberate goof made in the character Jacob's subconscious.
