Cylon-hater killed by Tory

5 May 2009 10:00 PM, PDT | Digitalspy | See recent digitalspy news »

Don't be fooled into thinking this feature is some covert New Labour attempt to win back a few votes from the Conservatives. It might make a good headline on Have I Got News For You, but Gordon Brown's spin doctors don't stand a chance of infiltrating our lair. Instead, this article continues Cult Spy's recent morbid trend by looking at the traumatic details of Toaster-loathing Cally's death at the hands of Tory Foster in Battlestar Galactica's fourth season episode 'The Ties That Bind'. We had huge empathy with Cally because of her understandable horror at learning that her husband was a Cylon, and hoped that she would come to her senses before killing herself and her son during a moment (more) »

Katy Brand has criticised Amanda Holden for making "patronising" comments about Susan Boyle's appearance. Holden, 38, recently vowed to veto plans to give the Britain's Got Talent star a makeover, insisting that a new look would jeopardise her unique appeal. Speaking earlier this month, the show's judge claimed: "She needs to stay exactly as she is because that's the reason we love her. She just looks like anybody who could live on your street. The minute we turn her into a glamourpuss is when it's spoiled." However, appearing on last night's episode of Have I Got News For You, comedienne (more) »
