Of the four four lead actresses in this movie only Annabeth Gish is still acting. The other three all retired from acting when they married and had children. more
Continuity: When the announcer introduces the judges, Senator and Mrs. Clatterbuck, Mrs. Clatterbuck's hair is parted down the middle and feathered under her pillbox hat. A minute later, in the same scene, she's wearing the same hat but her hair is just combed back with no part and is not feathered. more
Carson:
Y'all really think I'm doing the right thing?
Malaina:
[nonchalantly] Yeah, sure.
Luanne:
Of course, Harley Ralston is a wonderful man from a well rounded family, and I know you're gonna be very happy.
Malaina:
And if you're not, there's always divorce.
Luanne and Pudge:
[disgusted] Malaina!

Hi everybody, just a short note to say that this movie was soooo much fun! It is one of my favourite films. It's set in the 60's with great music, cool cars, good girls and bad boys, dancing and romancing! It makes me wish I had lived in that era. The cast is amazingly talented and attractive!!! 10/10 I wouldn't change a thing, it's perfect! Watch it now!!
