Trivia Santa Cruz, where Santa Carla takes place, was once plagued with the reputation of being "The Murder Capital Of The World" because of a series of very brutal murders by three different very disturbed men in the early '70s. Because of John Linley Frazier, Herbert Mullin and Edmund Kemper, Santa Cruz endured 28 murders over a 30 month period between 1970 and 1973. See more »
Goofs The credits at the end give credit to the poster hanging on the wall in Sam's room as a still from The Breakfast Club (1985). In fact, this picture of Molly Ringwald in a dark blue shirt sitting in a classroom is not from The Breakfast Club, but instead, from Sixteen Candles (1984). See more »
