• Continuity: The team member talking on the car's CB radio starts out holding the microphone handset backwards.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Derek hits the rocks, you can see a crew member throw a bucket of blood, and you can see two hands throw the legs over the rocks. You have to use slow motion to see.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Derek is holding on to the rope off the cliff, there is a visible crew member in black in the top left near the bushes

• Continuity: When Derek goes to talk to Robert with the bayonet and hammer, you can clearly see people walking at the beach in some of the shots, while in other shots they then have disappeared.

• Revealing mistakes: When the "chef alien" is fighting with Ozzy outside, in one shot, a baby-blue cloth, which may be a pillow, can be seen sticking out at the bottom of the chef's shirt.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When the boys are getting kitted up in the forest to rescue Giles, even though there's supposed to be nobody for miles, through the trees in the background you can clearly see cars driving along a busy road.
  
  
• Continuity: After Derek jumps on top of the lead Alien with a chainsaw, the chainsaw falls to the ground between the Alien's legs. The camera pans back to the Alien who does not move, however in the next shot the chainsaw has moved a few feet away.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Obvious mask for the aliens at the end when Derek goes through their head. The 'alien' heads have no skull, when the head goes in, the skin gives-in and reveals it's just a mask. Also at the very end when Derek uses the alien head as a 'mask', it's obviously a regular mask with made of plastic.
