- The original Australian VHS release features only Christopher Young's main title playing over the end credits.
- Both the original Media and Video Treasures versions have the "Main Title," from the beginning of the movie in the end credits. The cable and DVD versions included Bing Crosby's song "Did You Ever See A Dream Walking?" playing during the end credits. The song is also listed in the credits.
- The Australian theatrical release was edited for an M rating but the uncut version was later released on VHS home video with an R rating.
- In Swedish cinema, the movie was cut 5 min by the censors.
- Despite being released uncut in theaters in Germany, in order to retain its "not under 16" rating from the FSK, the subsequent VHS release was cut to tone down much of the gore. All such cuts would later be waived around the 2000's with the DVD release and also upgraded the rating to "not under 18" by the FSK (then later re-rated back to 16 in 2020) and since then the movie is completely uncut now in Germany.
