Some scenes under violence can be considered frightening/intense, suspenseful music generally plays throughout these scenes.Some bizarre/scary images, the demonic Darkness may appear frightening to some children----In my opinion the movie is too intense for children under 6-7, there are many scenes (some of them extended) that undoubtedly they'll find disturbing. Also, thematic elements may upset younger viewers. Great tale, but not for the whole family.
