• Continuity: The orientation of Marquet's horse during the struggle on the ground near the cathedral.
  
  
• Continuity: During the fight between Marquet and Navarre in the cathedral, Marquet's horse's mane changes constantly from long to short, from thick to thin and at one point it is evident that the horse's mane is a fake.
  
  
• Continuity: The orientation of the drain cover when the guards come to get Phillipe in the dungeons.
  
  

• Continuity: Phillipe's accent changes constantly between British English and American English.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: You can hear someone say 'cut' just before Phillipe says, "It's not unlike escaping Mother's womb."
  
  
• Factual errors: The moon is shown full every night except the night of the struggle on the ice, where it is shown as half full, and then is full again the next night. This is more of a problem because solar eclipses always happen on a new moon (and there is an eclipse in the film).
  
  
• Continuity: Phillipe stands right beside Navarre when he gives him the cloth to wrap the hawk in. However, just afterwards when Navarre tells Phillipe to take the hawk, Phillipe is standing a good couple of metres away from him.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Bubbles from the divers can be seen as Phillipe escapes from the sewer.
  
  
• Anachronisms: The nice, sharp haircut of Phillipe Gaston would have been virtually impossible without a modern electric razor.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Navarre is approaching the Castle where Imperius lives a hand appears on the right of the screen pushing his horse in the right direction
  
  
• Factual errors: Marquet and his men ride out of the town while Phillipe is still in the moat stealing the money pouch from the soldier. However, as the galloping horses, who can clearly cover more ground than a barefooted running man, pass over the hill outside of town, Phillipe peeks up for a look after they go by. It would be physically impossible for this to happen.
  
  
• Factual errors: "Ladyhawk" in the movie is a red-tailed hawk. The red-tailed hawk is a North American species. There are no native red-tailed hawks in Europe.
  
  
• Continuity: When the mouse first escapes the dungeon and pops out of the water, it cuts to two soldiers, one of whom is searching for his moneybag. However, the mouse doesn't steal his moneybag until the next scene
