  • Boom mic visible: Reflected in the glass above the door before Otto leaves the market for the second time.

  • Continuity: The White Cutlass Otto first repossesses appears on the street as a 1978-80 Cutlass Salon 4-door sedan, but as the negligent owners peer out the window, it appears as a 1981 Cutlass Supreme coupe.

  • Boom mic visible: When the repo men are bullying Otto to reveal who beat him up. (Open matte version only. Corrected in 'widescreen' release)

  • Crew or equipment visible: Dolly tracks visible between the camera and a car. (Open matte version only. Corrected in 'widescreen' release)

  • Continuity: At the beginning, in the wide shots from behind the car, Parnell is not wearing his shades. It's actually a different actor because Fox Harris couldn't drive.

  • Continuity: Otto's position relative to Kevin changes just before he pushes Kevin into the pile of cans.

  • Continuity: When the motor-cycle cop walks to the back of the Chevy Malibu to look in the trunk, the number plate is "KBB 283". As the Malibu drives off, leaving the cop's smoking boots, its number plate is "127 GBH". According to the director's voice-over, these takes were months apart because the original Malibu was stolen from the set.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: Otto's mouth when he asks Duke when he got out of the slammer.

  • Continuity: Parnell passes the corner of Palmetto and Mateo three times.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Helping Hand Acceptance Corporation head-honcho Oly goes out to look for the Malibu, as he is leaving, he says to Otto "keep making me money kid", to which Otto says "Fuck You", however his lips are saying something completely different

  • Crew or equipment visible: In the shot with Otto driving the Malibu with J Frank Parnell, you can see the shadow of a camera vehicle with a crane outside Parnell's window

  • Continuity: When Otto first enters the Helping Hands building, Marlene is on the phone. The camera then cuts to her and she is holding a pen instead of the phone.

  • Continuity: During the scene where Bud and Otto are racing down the side of the canal with the Rodrigues brothers, Lagarto suddenly disappears from the passenger seat.

  • Continuity: As Bud falls backward in the convenience store shootout, one shot shows his pistol hitting some bottles. The slide is locked to the rear, which can only happen if the magazine is completely empty, although in the previous shot it was forward and Bud hadn't fired.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the scene driving over the bridge in the repossessed red Corvette, Lite lights his cigarette twice.

  • Factual errors: License plate on the Malibu. There are no front plates in New Mexico

  • Miscellaneous: At the end when the car takes off from the ground, the license plate is backwards.

  • Continuity: In the scene where Otto walks into the Repo Yard for the first time after following Bud in - you will notice that the Open/Closed sign changes back and forth during the scene (indicative of multiple shoots).

  • Continuity: When the motorcycle cop goes to open the trunk, he takes Parnell's car keys with him - after he gets vaporized, Parnell pulls away without going to get them.

  • Continuity: In beginning of the movie, when the Malibu first passes by the motorcycle cop, the driver's side window is down. But after he pulls over, the cop walks up and taps on the closed window.
