• Continuity: When Sam and Jake are in the "acting Class" Sam stands up to stop the "teacher" from picking on Jake. Sam picks up his gear bag and they go towards the door, but a few seconds before, the row of chairs that are in front of Sam didn't have anything on them.
  
  
• Continuity: In the dressing room, the saleswoman pulls a curtain partly closed. In the next shot, the curtains are in their original position until Gloria Revell herself closes them further.
  
  
• Continuity: Jake follows Gloria to the beach "motel" in the morning sunlight, and within a few minutes, it is afternoon with the sun in the opposite direction.
  
  

• Continuity: The amount of soda in Holly's glass changes.
  
  
• Continuity: The leopard-print scarf around Holly's neck changes while she and Jake are speaking to Kimberly.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The first time "The Indian" attempts to use the drill, when the cord is too short to reach, the drill is running in reverse. That would make it pretty tough to use in the eventual manner.
  
  
• Continuity: When Jake discovers Carol cheating on him, her lover's left hand is on her right breast. When the camera switches to a close-up, his right hand is on her left breast.
  
  

• Continuity: SPOILER: When Sam buries Jake and Holly, Jake gets some dirt on his face and on his body. Moments later, when he gets up to grab Sam's shovel, there is absolutely no trace of dirt on him.
  
  
• Continuity: SPOILER: During the reservoir/burial site scene, Jake moves around Sam's van for a couple of minutes. The "Satellite" sign on the van appears and disappears as he does so.
