Alexander Skarsgard of Succession, The Legend of Tarzan, and The Northman is set to star in the ten-episode sci-fi series Murderbot, which has just been picked up by Apple TV+. Despite sharing a title with a recently released movie from Full Moon and director Jim Wynorski, this project is actually based on Martha Wells’ bestselling, Hugo and Nebula Award-winning book series The Murderbot Diaries.
The sibling duo of Chris and Paul Weitz (About a Boy) are writing, directing, and executive producing Murderbot under their Depth of Field banner. Andrew Miano is also executive producing for Depth of Field, while David S. Goyer executive produces alongside Keith Levine for Phantom Four. Wells is on board as consulting producer.
Coming our way from Paramount Television Studios, Murderbot is aiming to be action-packed. According to Deadline, the project first received a “blinking green light”, but the casting process was disrupted by the lengthy...

David Lowery's "Peter Pan & Wendy" has been a long time coming. Principal photography wrapped in 2021, while reshoots were completed in early 2022. The Covid-19 pandemic obviously played a role in delaying the film's production, but Disney has been a tad skittish about its release. The movie was greenlit as a Disney+ exclusive, but, unsurprisingly, the studio saw theatrical potential in the "Pete's Dragon" director's second remake of a Mouse House classic.
Alas, Disney reverted to a streaming release for "Peter Pan & Wendy," and, given the film's considerable budget, this is one of those moves that makes you wonder if the studio isn't completely on board with the tone Lowrey has struck. "Pete's Dragon" was an earthy redo of a slightly dated live-action/animated family flick, and it managed to connect with its simple tale of a lonely boy and his fantastical friend. Lowrey imbued his movie with a cloudy,...

Sometimes it kinda sucks to be so on top of "The Real Housewives" news. While others are reacting with surprise, glee or disgust to Bravo's official confirmation of the Beverly Hills Housewives, we at Zap2it posted most of the cast back in March save one newer addition.
Bravo confirms our report that Las Vegas hotel queen, Adrienne Maloof, "Frasier" star Kelsey's ex-wife, Camille Grammer, Paris Hilton's aunts, Kim and Kyle Richards and restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump are officially members of the 90210 cast. Though, businesswoman Taylor Armstrong has also been added since our post.
Here are their official bios from Bravo:
Taylor Armstrong - Taylor Armstrong is an Oklahoma transplant, who moved to Beverly Hills seven years ago. She is married to venture capitalist Russell Armstrong and together, they have one four-year-old daughter named Kennedy. She founded her own firm, eImplement Inc. and also volunteers for the 1736 Family Crisis Center.
