- There is full frontal female nudity.
- The extended opening of the movie mostly takes place in a porn shop. Tons of nude posters and magazines are seen. Countless women's breasts, pubic hair, and genitalia are all visible throughout the opening.
- A serial killer has nude pictures of women on his bedroom wall. Pubic hair and breasts seen in many of the pictures. People examine his bedroom twice throughout the movie for an extended period of time on both occasions.
- Some sexual remarks.
- A woman goes to a porn store. She is forced to watch a film of a woman being raped. The woman in the film is fully nude and the film is very graphic. The woman's breasts and pubic hair are all clearly visible. Flashbacks of this film are shown throughout The Howling.
- A man and a woman are seen approaching each other while naked. The man's buttocks are seen from the rear. The woman strips naked and there is a prolonged full frontal shot of her completely nude. Her pubic hair, genital area, and breasts are clearly visible for a prolonged period of time. The pair then have sex with butts and breasts visible.

- A severed cow's head is shown. Edit: there is no such thing as a "decapitated head". Decapitated means 'with the head removed'. A head without a head is nothing. A body can be decapitated, but a head cannot.
- A man shoots and kills a rabbit.
- A man is attacked by a werewolf, it bites his arm (the wound cannot really be seen).
- A man and woman start to transform into werewolves, she scratches his back causing bloody claw marks to appear.
- A woman is attacked by a werewolf, she chops its hand off with an axe.
- A man is shown with a melted face. He starts to change into a werewolf but is shot in the neck.
- A woman is killed by a werewolf. Later on, we see her body with a bloody and wounded neck.
- The corpse of a woman lies on a table. It's covered in blood and some viscera.
